I used a regular tailor's tape measure and followed the guidelines on the Meccariello site:

Note: I'm not sure this guide will help with anything other than getting a good fit in Meccariello shoes, because they have their own sizing system that doesn't necessarily relate to any standard sizing scheme. For instance, I'm a 9.5E brannock, and take a 9E in Barrie and Van, but in Meccariello's system, I'm an 8.5E (this size was a little tight across the forefoot initially, but I was able to stretch them enough to fit perfectly in the forefoot; the length and the instep were already perfect).
I've seen similar from White's boots, too.

Don't mind the white, hopefully one day I'll not have to baby powder these things to death haha. Man I love color 8 and I love Indy's. Might need to look at the plaza last next...

Hah, strangely enough I have to baby powder my Color 8 Indys as well to keep them from squeaking.

So my wife and kids noticed the Knight boots this evening. Everyone ask if I had bought another pair of boots, when I told them I have had them for a long time, just polished them today, the discussion turned to how I have all of my shoes/boots stored in their bags, with trees in every pair. My family thought this was "odd". Does any else's family think taking care of a significant collection of shoes/boots is odd?

I keep telling myself I don’t need color 8 Indys on neocork.

(What I reall need is color 8 Indys on double leather with antique edges).
You should contact Yenni. I bought color 8 indys on neocork with antique edging from her in Feb. and they’ve been my most worn pair of boots ever since. Comfy and versatile. Total necessity for your collection.

And here I thought my 5 year old driver was old haha. Every year I try to boot this Cobra Fly Z+ out of my bag and every year it proves why it belongs...
Long time fellas! Saw the beautiful golf course and the TM driver talk and had to chime in. Not much Alden activity for me this summer but I have played some incredible courses in Utah and NC. Promontory GC, Tuhaye GC, and Pinehurst #2 and to name a few... Also picked up an M6 Driver and is easily the best I have had. My SuperQuad TP tour issue driver from about ten years ago was one of my favorites also!

Done Promontory Pete Dye set up twice now, haven't done the Nicklaus one. Haven't done Tuhaye yet either. The hidden gem in that area is Victory Ranch. I was lucky to play it before it went private
