Much appreciated! and WOW, it really took a lot of nerve to experiment on a pair of rare shells! Gonna try it out this weekend.
All of us had the identical thought... ;) (one of those "you go first" moments...)

On the LHS, which do you prefer more...Suede or CXL?

I’m leaning towards snuff suede but brown cxl can be had as seconds. I can’t help but think the CXL will age better

Copley, Modified, 379 (I believe), Aberdeen, (don't you have a 3E Grant smfdoc?) and a few others as I recall as well.

Yep, you are correct. The Grant last can be ordered in EEE as well. I do find I need to go up 1/2 size for the Grant, but they do come in EEE. I, personally, only have pairs on Grant, Barrie, Hampton and TB.

These color 8's are showing the dryness in the crease, brushing and Bick4 didn't do much. Wonder if it's the finish coming off of these? Yes, it's Golden Retriever shedding season. View attachment 1153790
This particular one (specifically the right foot shoe) looks like what my pair of ravello wtb were doing at the flex point. I sent them to TSM but apparently they pretty much do what has been mentioned here, rubbing alcohol and water followed by some VSC or saphir products.

Scares me a bit to attack them with rubbing alcohol, but guess I may have to do it.
