They were not the exact right size, and yes, as soon as I left the post office, I had pangs of regret......But there are other boots to be had out there, I will survive. Glad you like them, wear them in good health, my friend!Well friends, it is with some sadness that I have to inform you all that our friend @audog seems to have suffered some sort of issue leaving his mental faculties in question. There is no other explanation for him letting these awesome boots out of his collection and into mine.

The pictures didn't do them justice. The gold stitching with the brass is really a unique look. Thanks for passing them on, they will be put to good use! They were not the exact right size, and yes, as soon as I left the post office, I had pangs of regret......But there are other boots to be had out there, I will survive. I liked my black Indy cordovan conversion so much, I had to convert my black v-tips as well. Originally on commando with a black storm welt, now on JR double leather with a flat welt.

Lol... some of us have much more to work with than others. But that’s cool... do the five have to Alden? I see some have brought in non-Alden makeups. It will be interesting when the all the Top 5s are done to see the commonality across the entries. We'll have to see if we can crown Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
thanks! The sidewalk is right next to the lawn, so the camera is probably picking up some green-cast reflected from the shell. These came out equally as a good as your Indy’s, nicely done. The black shell almost looks green but maybe it’s just my eyes.
Those look incredible. Who did the work?I liked my black Indy cordovan conversion so much, I had to convert my black v-tips as well. Originally on commando with a black storm welt, now on JR double leather with a flat welt.

Speaking for myself, any list that includes a pic of you JC Cap's as well as those carmina tankers is well worth bending the rules.Lol... some of us have much more to work with than others. But that’s cool... do the five have to Alden? I see some have brought in non-Alden makeups.

Giggity! Those are nice. I see what @AJ1 is saying with the green. These came out equally as a good as your Indy’s, nicely done. The black shell almost looks green but maybe it’s just my eyes.
I find them a lot more “wearable” now. All-black shoes just don’t find their way into my feet much. Those look incredible. Who did the work?
