Probably better you post them, because otherwise it would mean I was the one posting them!Happy Tuesday forum pals. Today, the seldom seen 6 eyelet chukka PCT. I get the feeling I am the only person who posts these. That says something about my taste level, one way or the other.

Does anyone have photos/comments on how the slip-on chukkas wear? Esp the shell version re: rolls, and just generally how they break in, with the elastic. I see occasional new photos, but not many in the wild used pics or updates, positive or negative...

They're good. The elastic is different than I expected. It's not front to back like a Chelsea; it's side to side connecting the two quarters in the middle. So, it allows them to expand sideways without it flexing forward when walking.
Do you find the elastic expanding over time and allowing the front flap to pull forward more?View attachment 1227140

Random question:
If a shoe makeup originally came with a 270 degree welt & single leather sole will Alden change that to the same specs but with an antique welt and leather sole instead upon recrafting?
Is there a way to request this when sending them in for service?
Many thanks!
I don't have tons of wears, but the way they're sewn I don't see that being an issue. These are plaza; I could see someone with a high instep having issues thoughDo you find the elastic expanding over time and allowing the front flap to pull forward more?
Did these jump to the top of my loafers? Survey says...yes!
