You have really been rockin' the boots of late. Looking good. Reverse Chamois is a favorite here.

The rubber heel insert is worn at the back almost to the 2nd leather layer. Should I have the heel rubber replaced at this time before it wears into the next layer?

No, but I guess they are a Frans Boone imitator. They are from B+M and I added the hooks. Grant last.

What B&M Model are they? Oh never mind, just found them. Look better with the hooks by the way.

Yeah we've been getting it all day!

YUCK! Parents back in Ohio are getting a bit too, but not nearly as much as us. We had snow, then rain, then snow then freezing rain/sleet and more snow. It's crazy

Wow, and I thought our 9 inches (3-4 more possible overnight) was bad. I HATE freezing rain/sleet with a passion. Had to run snowblower 2 times today as city snow plow decided my cleared driveway needed to be buried again. Walked dog tonight, and for all of us here with city/town/village sidewalks PLEASE shovel them, as it's tough to walk a 100 lb Golden Retriever in calf high snow while trying not to fall over or freeze. And the Alden A/T Indy boots are simply awesome in the snow. Feet stayed dry again. If you need snow boots, give Adam a call I'm sure he wouldn't mind selling a pair or two.

Ah you threw me curve with the speed hooks. I may need to make that conversion, all eyelets can be a hassle.
    Love the blue laces!

Eyelets vs Speed Hooks has been a topic of discussion here before. Personally, I like hooks on more casual boots, but dressier boots look best with eyelets, even though it's a pain to lace them sometimes (like dark when wife still sleeping, etc.)
