You mean "break in." My most comfortable out the box by far

No, I actually meant breaking in. As in stretching. The strap on the L shoe is really tight--and my feet are flat as pancakes. (R shoe fits very nicely) After wearing today I will put a shoe tree in the left one turning it 90 degrees, to continue the stretching process on that one strap.

First wear Brogue Statesman loafer in black cordovan, very comfortable on the Copley last.

If you wear thicker socks than dress socks, Barrie would work. Otherwise, I would go down 1/2 size from your Barrie size for dress socks or no socks.

Black Shell LHSes for recovery day from the weekend festivities. Ahh black shell puts me at ease. Doc's Jet Black Shell longwings post today are just so classic, a great shoe!. I don't know why I havent pair yet. Versatile shoe.
