Great snag. It’s always nice to be surprised to find nothing or very little on a FD shoe.

They can be worn with about with anything year round. I like the look with the hanger project laces I put on them .

That's where those laces came from, I was thinking GG, but Kirby makes more sense from the look of them.

Out of curiosity, what belts do you guys wear with color 8 footwear?Particularly the newer dark stuff. I’ve been wearing a Merlot Allen Edmonds belt, which is much more of a lighter burgundy color. It works, but I was looking for a slightly closer match in color.

I wear my #8 shell from AE. Not perfect but close enough. Pretty good deal for a shell belt when they are on sale.

AoM sells #8 belts made by the same guy who made Alden’s #8 belts back when they carried them. They have whiskey too.
