Damn. I'm not sure what the direct email is, but it has been posted here before.

I actually recoloured it to dark burgundy on my tanker boot , when it started to loose the colour with years of TLC.

They prefer you to deal directly with the retailer who sold you the pair. You can try this email though. I’ve had varying wait times for a response from next-day to next week. General at aldenshoe dot com

I noticed some white appearing in the creases of my color 8 shoe wingtip bluchers.
Is this normal? How can I fix it?

I recommend you call the Alden factory in Massachusetts tomorrow morning, inform them of the problem, they’ll probably tell you 1 of 2 things: contact the vendor & have them mediate to solve your problem or send the shoe to them directly with a note describing the problem, who you purchased it from, etc.

I had a similar problem with a nail protruding through the insole of a Jcrew Alden boot, they told me to send directly to them since jcrew is such large corporation

    They fixed mine pretty quickly

    Good Luck

Normal. It is the oils in the leather coming to the surface. Brushing redistributes it. One of the neat things about shell. Brush brush brush!

Does snuff vary this much in color or is it just the lighting (no sun/sun) ?

That's lighting for sure. The outdoor shot is a better representation of it, the indoor shot has some goofy color casts going on due to whatever the light source is.
