You know, you are now "hooked" on boots, it is an addiction (I know, believe me I know) but we can quit any time we want to.......

That would explain why they are not on the AoM site :)

AoC, reverse chamois. I added the hooks as the make up has all eyelets. I believe it is AoC 48.

Raul at Willies shoe service in LA.

I have learned that there are two types of hooks that can be installed. The first leaves the eyelets in place and then is spread in the back of the eyelet. The second was is to remove the eyelets and the mushroom out the back of the hooks widely into the leather. This was done on the darker shoe. The first method is seen on some suede boots. The second method seems more secure. It’s harder to get a loose hook this way.

I wish alden would go to real hooks...I generally am not a fan of hooks unless on a hiker. Damn I hate Aldens with a passion...from spacing to size.....Ok..probably the 90th time I have posted this LOL...

love the look of your hooks...looks like those are a little easier to use than stock and wont wreck your boots if you are a leg crosser

Both are beautiful. Really love the Sinn, I owned a Sinn 104 that I sold earlier this year. They make some great watches!

You know there is nonsense in the air when the seller (Leffot) says they have been carefully inspected to verify they are genuine.

Sinn looks like it was made for the nato. love that look. and the cheap straps are damned comfortable, too. i'm a big fan of them on dive/pilot type watches.
