OK, who's make-up and leather is ????

AoC, reverse chamois. I added the hooks as the make up has all eyelets. I believe it is AoC 48.

And that begs the next question, who did the hooks??? I like that makeup and hooks.

I have learned that there are two types of hooks that can be installed. The first leaves the eyelets in place and then is spread in the back of the eyelet. The second was is to remove the eyelets and the mushroom out the back of the hooks widely into the leather. This was done on the darker shoe. The first method is seen on some suede boots. The second method seems more secure. It’s harder to get a loose hook this way.

I wish alden would go to real hooks...I generally am not a fan of hooks unless on a hiker. Damn I hate Aldens with a passion...from spacing to size.....Ok..probably the 90th time I have posted this LOL...

love the look of your hooks...looks like those are a little easier to use than stock and wont wreck your boots if you are a leg crosser
