1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Typically yes but I found Aberdeen to be tricky for my foot. I am an 8.5D Barrie but couldn't fit a 9D Aberdeen. It narrowed too quickly at the toe for me. As always, if you're in a position to try them on then that's your best bet. Good luck!

Looking very good in your Aberdeen Shortwings. A cool makeup. Enjoy Whiskey Wednesday!

Looking great as always Don! Your slacks are pretty rad, but the socks are a little disappointing for you! ;-) Enjoy Whiskey Wednesday!

They are the nicest for a good reason, they look superb!

I personally avoid product except for occasional use. I think a good brushing with a little moisture is all it takes (and patience). If you do this between several wearings, I think it will be mainly gone.

Thanks, as @JSO1 said, they are on the Grant Last. Madison does these sparingly in Cigar, but does stock them regularly in Black Shell and Color 8. I believe that they also do this same makeup minus the toe stitch in a semi-Indy style.

    Thanks Bud!

That is correct-a-mundo! Although, I will add that it historically has been done by a number of shops, but that is going back to the Golden Days.

Looking stellar D in your Bricked Snuffs!

Hot diggity dog Zippy, those are just a spectacular Whiskey LHS. Those look absolutely amazing. Enjoy Whiskey Wednesday!

With zero other information, I would say that 9 would be my starting place for logical sizing.

Your new 2210's are looking absolutely stunning. I hope that you get many years of good use out of them!

    Agreed.

They look like white socks, but I presume they're more closer to cream.

^Thanks guys! My sock game is non-existant; they're basic tan/creme socks from Uniqlo...I'll need to do better now that I'm no longer wearing boots exclusively!

Got a pair of Straight Tip Boots at J.Crew for around $480, $80 cheaper than regular price from J.Crew. But after looking carefully when I got home, I saw a tiny little tear (crack) as in the photo. Are they now still worth it or should I return?

@nqtri it is early and your picture is kinda dark. I can't see the scratch/tear - can you get a better picture and/or circle it?

looks like a stitching hole. If you can return it and get a replacement pair for the same price, i would do that, otherwise I think its OK to keep for an $80 saving!

just put some wax in there and conditioner, and polish it off

Absolutely love these!! I have the color 8 sibling from FransBoone but the ravello ones are just on a different level. From two days ago (too many colors, please ignore the rug. Or the socks...): [IMG]

Those Ravello Indies are a game changer.
I have the black and color 8 versions but they pale in comparison.

Managed to dump an entire venti coffee on my suede LWB's.
They appear to have come out of it unscathed, bullet dodged.
Perhaps suede is more durable than I thought.
