1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Haha! To my defense, I didn't get my hands on them until last Christmas and the winter here is looong... :)

    Good for you!!!

I supposed to have a pair in the same run too. However, mine was screwed during production and ended up as irregular and Alden decided they will not make another pair for me.

My heart bleeds everytime I see those boots...[IMG]

Much appreciated MrDV. Speaking of NST'S, your cigars are just killer.

Fantastic DV! Where are these from? Most of the Cigar NSTs I've seen are on Barrie from TSM. Enjoy often and in great health my friend...

First wear of the Reverse Tobacco Chamois WTB from Yenni yesterday. I was standing for 9 hours rocking out to Pearl Jam in Toronto and the boots didn't even flinch. Paired with 3sixteen denim

    Thank you my friend.
I bought them on eBay. The heel pad does not indicate a retailer. I did see this make up in San Francisco about 3 years ago, I suspect they're from there.

My wife and I were having a discussion this morning: "What are the best Alden shoes (NOT boots) to wear with raw denim and a very casual shirt (fitted T, OCBD, etc) in warm weather?"

    What's your vote?

(this started because I had on raw denim and a casual shirt and put on some old grain LWB and she thought the shoes were too dressy for the rest of the outfit)

I like the LWB in either brown or natural chrmxl with that set up, but snuff suede should be in the conversation also.

My warm weather/denim favs. Whiskey LHS, Ravello LWB, and Whiskey PTB. All easily paired with tees or polos, not so easy to obtain at the moment though. Natural CXL LHS and PTB would be good subs, along with the tan CC LWB from B&M.

Nice Summer rotation. Of course my vote would be Whiskey LHS's all day long... Chip

I'm a huge fan of my snuff suede WTB's with jeans (see my pic from earlier this morning) - I think most snuff suede is going to look great with denim. Same for natty CXL - just about any style shoe or boot in that leather is going to look good with jeans.
