Hi all, quick question about the Modified Last...
Is the Modified last suppose to be best suited for those with a high arch?
anyone know where i an get extra laces?
Pretty sure every Alden stockist carries them. I think I've also seen people email Alden asking where to get them, only to be sent free ones directly. Might give that a go.
Here's a few retailers with them listed online:
http://www.fransboonestore.com/collections/alden (I wouldn't buy them from an overseas retailer, seems a waste of money to have them shipped in, but just listing this as an example).
@JSO1 CONGRATS!!! those are spectacular
Wow! These are fantastic. I'm after patina on my shoes but now I have to aspire to box patina too!
Anyone do this makeup barrie, commando with a split welt?
Epaulet did a pre-order on a similiar makeup one year ago, #8, barrie last, all eyelets, flat welt and double leather sole. But not arrived yet.
i really like the color. there may still be hope for new #8.
Just had my Brooks brothers suede boots resoled with cork soles. Really pleased with the results. Maybe I'm in the minority but I never liked the way crepe felt when walking. Too squishy for me.
Looking great in your Black Shell LHSes. I would probably need to look up an old photo of MJ to get your reference.
As others have said, those are on the nicer side of the beater column. ;-)
Looking great and lovely photograph.
Your Ravello LWBs are looking great today Burzan! Looks good with the olives. They are rather rolly polly.
Ben took good care of you, those boots look great and have a nice Snuff color. Good pairing with the denim.
Looking good in your new Alt Wiens. Mike killed it with that makeup.
Looking great DV in your Ravello CT Boots and your RRL denim.
Yeah, Steve beat me to it, best makeup is the Epaulet Alt Wien Boot, like Henry's Blucher, but a boot! Doesn't have split-reverse though (I believe).
Thats a cool looking outsole. Nicely done Schmallo!
