So, I finally wore my Tan Suede Leather Soul PT Boots (crepe sole), and I'm getting almost a "Timberland Plus" vibe from them.. I don't say that as a negative, just saying. I love them.

Some may disagree, but I don't find it all that heavy (especially compared to neocork and double leather). I may be biased by the lightness of the suede though.

Have any of you guys put on a rubber piece on the toe of your shoes? Like this:

The flush-mounted metal plates seem to be a popular option, but I don't know of they're overkill (not to mention more expensive). I wear down my toes so I am looking to do something to prevent premature resoling.

Pulling some heavy winter wear. Time for a brush up.

The Tan Suedes are looking mighty fine my friend!

I usually just do the whole front of the shoe if I were to do that, just makes more sense to me. But that is an interesting concept. Looks like a pair of Allen Edmonds to me.

Your Cap Toe boots are looking good, but yes, they definitely need some brushing.

A Tucked-in shirt is a great way to use your belt as part of the ensemble .. Old school vs Mellinium. Ma was always saying .. "tuck your shirt in" to us. Times have definitely changed. Lookin great Mike as per usual..

I do find it a heavier sole option but very comfortable.

I wish more models were available in the crepe...they seem to be more difficult to find. Does anyone know of a retailer that uses it more often like yenni does with the commando sole.

LoL. No. I took this family photo on Monday. So it's been ready for me to post for a few days. I took Whiskey and Color 2/4 on Friday. Those are for next weekend.

Your snow is looking very good my friend!
