1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I can't compete with @MrDV and the Mayor @mdubs but here is my start of 2016 Alden family portrait.

Back Row: Tan LHS, Snuff Chukka, NATCXL PTB, 403 Indy, Reverse Chamois Leffot Greenwich
Front Row: Whiskey PTB, Whiskey LHS, Ravello LWB, Color 8 LWB, Color 8 Leffot Tanker

Pulling them out makes me notice I have a fairly diverse collection, I think the CXL PTB may need to go to make room for something else, I don't reach for it much as of late. Size 7.5D in case anyone is interested in the CXL PTB.

I can not think of a better way to start off the new year! Looking good.
You are smokin' in those Cigar LWBs. Have a great and healthy 2016.
Your shoes appreciate the love and care. They are looking good. Football is always a good brushing background.
Looking good in your PCT Boots 1/8th.
My friend, it is most certainly not a competition. You have a good, well rounded, and healthy collection of fine shoes. May you wear them in the best of health in 2016! -Mike

Does anyone know where perhaps Alden will make a Suede Snuff Tassal Loafer this year for spring? I'm looking around and I know they don't make them in their main line but I WISH they did.

    Awesome, awesome collections gents!

The good thing about resetting this thread yearly is that it will be a nice reminder of the impending annual end-of-Jan Alden price increase.

Next time I have the house to myself, I'll get a family photo. When I bring out all of my shoes at once, my wife rolls her eyes so much that she's liable to start cramping up.

    Happy New Year to all.

Three new arrivals, three different lasts. Time for a comparison pic...

This made me LOL. I could see the same reaction from my wife if she saw me taking a family photo. I'll have to do one some time as well when the wife isn't around ;)

Those are three great boots right there. Always fun to see different lasts. :)
Regardless, those Snuffs are looking terrific. Enjoy them in good health sir. Those socks are fun too! -Mike
