Spent about 2.5 hours in one store tonight and only managed to knock out ten or so. What is "the good" Anchor Hocking? I found a few pieces & now wondering if I should've picked them up. Just stuff in good nick?

I have the red version of the snoopy mug...plus like half a dozen other Fire King mugs.... LOLed when I saw the list...I knew no one here probably had no idea as to what you were talking about.

I figured some would know and some wouldn't. I used to flip the mugs all the time until a few years ago. I still grab the character ones when I see them, but haven't seen one in a while.

Total 3 hours thrifting, more than I did for last few months. I think scavenger hunt has the potential to get me back in game. Alas, only at 9 and covered most but not all low hanging fruits in the list. BTW I will buy your long, no bend brass shoe horn ( need only one) for twice the money you pay, up to 20, and will pay for shipping. I also am looking for a black cordovan wingtip 9E or 9.5 depending on the last of the shoe, price to be negotiated.

Have not been out since my long weekend of thrifting over the holiday and this weekend has a birthday and other plans. If I'm lucky might hit some stores before the deadline. I'm at zero.

Thifting has been so good....spend less quality scavenger time looking for items on the list. Another victim of thrift store offers of Ebay riches, The lure of recognition by my peers and cash award has failed to sway attention in the proper direction which may not be ressurected soon...

[IMG] Were you out at one of your 24 hour thrifts all night or writing listings?

Thrifted from 11 to 9 today. Just about filled my wife's car (Chevy HHR). Luckily the other vehicle along for this trip is a minivan, and I have enough room for another full load. Headed out early tomorrow.

Just damn... As you are buying all of this stuff, don't you start dreading having to list it? Prep, photo, write listing, eventually pack and ship. This is the main reason I don't go out as often as I would like, I have a bunch of stuff not good enough to consign that I would like to sell on eBay but just don't have the follow through. My kids helped with the measuring on the shirts but with their school and activities there is little time to do it. Anyway, I enjoy the thrifting and reading about it more than I do the selling.
