Spoo, come on now, if my car can't be in it. yours can't . unless your car was on a rack between an orvis and a nautica. and cut out my best finds? meh, i thrifted plenty of swag in charity stores. too late to post now though, and i would rather vote for another member.

"thrifted" at $2,800. can sell it anytime for a whole lot more. 0-60mph in under 5 seconds. and sorry, i wouldn't trade for a ferrari.
    frowny face.
(just pissed you didn't even put me in, rant over.)

Are we going to take all of Nat's various votes and combine them into a single score? Only seems fair...

38R sorry if i didnt put you in but i didnt see your post as a nomination. I wont revisit the 0-60 time again lol

For the votes, I looked through everyone who posted in the thread and nominated something. I guess its morphed slightly from thrift piece of the year to haul/thing/person of the year. So if Nat has a Yohji haul, a person vote or something else, I have to look at those separately. Wes has a few noms as do I and they are all going to be looked at individually.

I had the privilege to ride in Spoo's Ferrari, and I'm pretty sure it was already doing 60MPH when I opened the door to get in at the parking lot.

How does buying a used car with the proceeds from Luxeswap sales qualify as"thrifting"? :D Did a local Goodwill sell you the car? Never knew Carmax or the Preowned lot of a Ferrari dealer were considered thrift stores!

well, unless you paid less than 50% of the flippable value. it isn't thrifted. sure, you thrifted clothes, flipped them and made money, then bought a ferrari. am i right?
even if it is a great accomplishment. -and regardless of what i think about ferrari's.

hence why i draw the comparison to my car, which was INSANELY cheap. and just as fast, has rear seats, and is even rarer (for a perfect one) , shit. it's a thrift. a legitimate supercar, for less than a prius. so let's settle this. in summer, we both post the deets,: price, year, power, features, maintainence, and quarter mile. game? i say summer because i can't post a time on an icy drag strip.

not trying to cut you down, but your car, if you paid market value. is NOT thrifted. mine is. that is my point. and i only battle you on this because you insist that a $80,000 dollar car is thrifted.

+Voted for the Cane sword. awesome. total grail.

Okay, we get it - you both drive awesome cars bought for peanuts (or clothes that were bought for peanuts) and must also therefore have huge wangs. Can we get the thrift train back on track? I voted for Nat's insane Yohji haul - there was a lot of amazing stuff picked this year, but for quantity, quality, and rarity, his wins in my opinion.

No offense, but I'd take Spoos (non-thrifted) Ferrari over this thing any day.

What is that thing? Looks like something out of the late 90s/early 2000s. Very blech.

Nailed it. I was getting a 90s rice rocket vibe.

Like I said, I'd take Spoos Ferrari any day over that fugly thing

Does it have to be Spoo's? I actually prefer the 458 Spider over the F430. I can dream...
