Summers in DC are hazy, hot, and humid. I'm curious to know how my brothers in other distressingly warm climes beat the heat - or at least keep it from beating them. Please post fits here that work for you under the following conditions:

    1.\tWhen it's hatefully hot out.
2.\tWhen you don't need to dress up.
3.\tBut when you still want to stand out from the flip-flopped, cargo-shorted masses.

I'll start. This is what I wore running errands today:

Does leaving the laces out make them that much cooler? [IMG]

The only thing that I do is lose the socks and suffer and complain.

Expensive leather flip flops or cotton sneakers, like TB is wearing. White or gray linen pants (need to buy pink linen pants asap). T-shirt, polo or light-weight shirt with rolled up sleeves. Not much else you can do. :\\

Today DC is gorgeous. I ran the mall at 11 to beat the foul weather and damn near collapsed after 7 miles. I can't wait to leave this swamp.

What brand of shorts are those? I like the length; they would be good for my short legs.

No shit? I, too, went for a run today at 11:00 am, but in my neighborhood, not at the Mall. (And I only did three miles.) [IMG]

Apparently NOT if you're here surfing the boards. [IMG]
