Did anyone read the article in the latest issue of The Rake about John Lobb's bespoke offerings? Said they made a pair of bespoke riding boots for a customer that cost over 20,000 pounds. Kind of spectacular when an Oxford goes for 4500. This is an example of the kind of article I love. They even revealed that a customer of theirs came for an initial fitting, came back for his second after losing 8kg in weight, and they had to start over again in the process. The insights into the little details is great.
