I get goosebumps from seeing all the lace holes.

Some one bust out the whips and spank me!

Seems a bit kinky. Not for me.

Conceptually it's pretty cool, the "laces" are elastic bands. But yeah, too many eyelets.

I like these a lot. Did anyone buy them or try them on? How are they?

Brings to mind either alien spores or plague boils, neither of which are things I want to associate with my footwear.

I've always thought that the more flamboyant Varvatos Converse pieces were very incongrous, given that the whole essence of Chucks is their utilitarian simplicity.

Yeah, and not at all in tune with it either. It sort of strikes a bad note with me. Unless I am greatly mistaken, this really doesn't fit in with his fall collection at all. It's rather jarring, like throwing in Hot Topic with J. Crew or something. BTW, Rye GB, how about posting some pieces from your lookbook or buyers catalogue for us to see? Looked at your splash page - looks like your style based on your posts alone. What is that? Some sort of treated cotton or maybe leather jacket and a red/black scarf?

Anybody have pictures of the black Jack Purcells with the red tip at the front. Basically the whole shoe is black with some speical fabric (I don't know what they are), the plastic cap at the front is black as well but the line on the cap is red.
