1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

With regards to the sample of small shirts that I own:

The overdyes and the oxfords have longer sleeves than the chambrays.

The chambrays vary in sleeve length but they are all shorter than the overdyes and oxfords.

    Nothing matches the online sizes.

Personally, I don't reconcile this with 'consistent'.

Obviously unhappy at the moment and Mauro's not replying to my emails.

Does anyone else have buttons constantly flying off their OCBDs? I've had two come off with only a handful of wears.

No, and I routinely machine wash shirts I've owned for years. Unlucky I guess.

Yes. Some fell off during hand wash. I know. Just get in touch with Mauro, he will get you some button if he has them.

I am in Mexico with spotty service but I believe I have answered all my emails despite letting everyone know many times including in a newsletter that I would be on vacation until Sunday.
The sleeve lengths are hand cut and basically are very consistent. Shrinkage is a different story chambray and other looser weaves tend to shrink more than a tighter woven shirt. I would seriously consider reading my blog so you can learn a little about the wash processes and shrinkage. I cover things like that.
You will notice I have added .25 inches in most arms length due to shrinkage. The over dyes are over dyed so a lot of math went in to figure out shrinkage a and they were made in a different factory.
I also have made in clear that you may add length to your sleeve and even an inch in body length. I apologize you are unhappy but I do make a killer product and stand beside it 150%. I am sure you received an email from me and I probably told you like any relationship communication is key. So the next time you order you will be happy with your product no matter what it might be.
Thank you kindly for your support.
I will be back from Mexico on Sunday night please get in touch with me again on Monday so we can rectify your unhappiness.

    Best,

    Mauro

If your cracked or lost a button please get in touch with me and I will send you some more.
Buttons do fall of no matter what brand you buy from, it's just the way it is. We are doing are best but it will happen from time to time and we will always help you.
It he whole button situation is very interesting to me because I have worn my shirts day after day for years with out ever having a button fall off. What do you do to make your buttons pop off?

For me there's a loose end and when I go to button it up it kind of just unwinds and the button just falls off.

You do make a good product. I'm talking about pre-wash sleeve length. I'll follow up via email. I've had no problems with buttons or anything else.

This happens with buttons on any shirt maker from time to time. If you have loose threads, you can sew it youself to secure it up or any dry cleaner will do it for you for a small fee. Pretty easy fix, but you should do that prior to wearing.
