Just recieved a brand new WvG shirt from b&s

Nice hand and weight, it is indeed a "true slim fit" with the higher armhole, a first for me

I can barely fit an undershirt, and after countless washes and drys in the future, I am sure this shirt will shrink to fit being worn as a stand-alone.

Nice detail with the "halfway-up-double-vent detail" on the back (the actual term is at lost for me currently).

    Photo will due:

Question is can I take this apart because the last button is a bit tight right around my hip area. Does WvG recommend this? How can I loosen the waist/hip area?

Sizing up to Medium will be just too big IMO...the shirt I got is the B/D White Oxford:

so the difference is that B/D your waist/hip is thinner as you have not ate yet, vice versa, A/D is to accommodate the extra food you just packed on?

    lol

Want to hear from Mauro whether it is recommended to take the shirt apart from the back seams then have a tailor reconstruct it with some extra room in mind. It would be great if I can get measurements.

Essentially what you are all thinking, taking a B/D shirt and with some tailoring, change it to a A/D shirt. lol

    lol

    lol

yes you can have the "seams" (darts) let out no problem.

    Yeah

I don't got much drop like all the skinny dudes / buff dudes

I'm just a regular du ... and the double darts is quite slim.

go with the AD. it's still slim and does not have darts. i prefer the AD over the BD because the arm holes are a smudge larger.

^i just find the B/D and A/D shirt synonymous with the actual act of stuffing yourself before and after dinner quite hilarious and smart of WvG. It literally means what it says (I am sure someone like shah or synthese can better articulate what I am feeling right now, i really want to write better [off-topic]) le sigh

    lol

Well, I still want to know whether taking out those darts on the B/D will negatively affect the shirt i.e. how much fuller will it be?

I think only Mauro can answer this as I am sure he has messed around with the design long enough to say with certainty.

Or are there adventurous types in here who have actually bought a B/D shirt because the A/D sold out, and just took out the darts *kaboom* and B/D turned into A/D?
