Dopey,
Thanks for the comments and the pocket bag situation has been taken care of same with the pockets. It is a low rise so it might taking some getting use too. I am tweaking that pattern and I have a new pattern with a longer rise.

Best,
Mauro

I got all of my stuff in the mail today (after a little USPS ****-up), and I have to say that I am beyond pleased.

The candy apple red shirt that I ordered is fantastic in person. I had my doubts on the piece when first ordering, but have to say that after receiving it, this shirt is pretty much robbery at $65.

The blue floral/paisley shirt is great as well. It'll make for a really great every-once-in-a-while shirt, and I can't wait to get some wear out of it ASAP.

A question regarding the blue/white gingham AD shirt that I ordered, though: it seems to be cut differently than all of my other AD shirts -- same fit in the upper body, but much longer in both sleeve and body length. Is there any reason why this is (perhaps it's meant to be tucked in)? Don't get me wrong -- the fabric on this shirt is so, so great, and it couldn't be more of a steal at the price. I’ll probably go to the tailor to lop an inch off the length, but damn if this isn’t a nice shirt.

Eight WvG items and counting in my closet now. Definitely soon to be more. You rock, Mauro. :slayer::slayer::slayer:

How close does the color match the website pictures for the candy apple?

The photo of the before dinner candy apple red shirt is very washed out in color, and is not representative at all. I would say that the after dinner photo is pretty accurate. I think it looks really good styled with some darker colored pants. :satisfied:

Look at the AD red shirt. It's more accurate. It's a great color.

Thanks for the good words everyone, That Liberty is on point!

Great. I like the overall fit on these just fine, but I am sure I will like the longer rise ones as well.

Had to go with the candy red when Mauro mentioned 'love' in his pm for these. I have a load of wvg to be posted over. The blue/white gingham and the tattersall plus the overdyed oxfords and chinos will do it for me now. WvG will be dominating my wardrobe when the pieces arrive..

Thanks for the sale Mauro.

If I remember right, j, you're about my height (maybe an inch or two taller). How far down does the candy AD shirt go down on you? I ordered a ripe blueberry last night, hopefully I won't have to go chop it up or anything :slayer:

Hey man!

I take a small in the overdyed AD oxfords, and they are perfect on me at 5'8". They're about BoO length (although Band does vary a bit). If you know how a J.Crew small fits, it's about an inch or so shorter in length. I have 5 of the overdyed AD shirts in my closet now, and they're all really good in fit and length. My WvG shirts are the only shirts in my closet that I feel comfortable not taking to a tailor.

If you're an inch or two shorter than me, they'll probably still be good, depending on how you like to wear your shirts. I like mine a bit cropped.

If anyone has the blue/white gingham AD shirt in a L I will take it off your hands. Might even trade an overdye oxford for it.

I have updated the website. All inventory is now correct. I have extended the sale for two more days due to computer errors. Have at it there is some good stuff left.

Best,
Mauro

Caveat- I know I have a L AD black and white gingham in stock!
