Seriously, I've been doing some audio shootouts with prior versions of these Beatles and Badfinger CDs and they sound wonderful. The Beatles remastering team led by Allen Rouse has done consistently excellent work here doing justice to this storied catalog. I've been listening to Badfinger's Straight Up today and comparing it to the DCC gold CD and it really has a nice level of clarity.

Also, last night I compared the new Sgt. Peppers CD to my early pressing on British Parlophone LP and it sounds very similar if not quite as good.

They also have CDs by James Taylor, Bill Preston, Mary Hopkins, etc.

Highest recommendation.

I agree. These are amongst my most heavily played CDs, along with the Exile on Main Street reissue. I had to buy the mono box also, and it blew me away.

Told ya so and the Mono box has incredible art work. A masterpiece. Glad you are enjoying them.

I have to get all these CDs. Are you going to the Atlanta Record Show on Sunday?

Hadn't planned on it. Will be in town most of the week, but not Sunday.
