+ a billion. Slim lapels, would rather not have, but ok, passable. Single rear vent is un-fucking-forgivable. I only have two items with a single rear vent: a blue american-style Polo sports coat and an american style blue pinstripe suit (a-la brooks brothers). What Craig is wearing however yearns for a double vent.

+ 1. As for slim lapels, they are getting long in the tooth now. Dont hate them, dont like them, just blah...

Maybe a center vent better accommodates a running scene, as shown in the pic (i.e. a double vent might 'flap around' when he's running). Just a theory.

When Daniel Craig was raving about the new look for Bond in Skyfall that he and Tom Ford had come up with I would never have imagined slim lapels and a center vent. Not to mention the three button cuff and lack of a ticket pocket. There's nothing about this suit that says Tom Ford. All the signature touches are missing :(

Except that the skirt of his jackets for Quantum of Solace was specifically designed to have more "swishy-ness". Unless this was an order from Mendes, I can't see this being the reason.

TF does 3/2. My suit is a 3/2.

[IMG] Looks really 'blah', I agree. While I wouldn't mind the single vent, the slim lapels look really cheap. These, in combination with the lousy collar don't do any favor to the overall look. I don't understand why TF used the slim lapels, in the documentary he mentions how much he despises this look...

Maybe this is a scene in the movie where the villain forces 007 to wear that suit. Effectively making him look sartorially silly, forcing MI6 to disavow and burn him. Ow, the drama...

I stopped buying Brooks Brothers suits for this reason. The 1818 Fitzgerald's are single vent
