A number of years ago I was given a Suede trench coat. The inside is beautiful shearling (according to my wife). The label on the inside says "Schiatti & Co." but I've researched this brand to death and all I can find are light jackets. These jackets go for about $2500, so I'm thinking this heavy trench coat was worth a pretty penny. Does anyone know anything about the brand or the coat?

Are you wondering what its worth new, or what its 2nd hand resale is? Those are fairly different. Perhaps by an order of magnitude.

Well, I guess both. Knowing what these light Schiatti jackets go for, this thing must have cost a mint. Of course, what the resale should be and what someone is willing to pay for it are two different things. Any info would be greatly appreciated though.

Thanks for the info Style Guru. I'm 6'4" and this coat hangs down below my knee so it's quite long. I'm not sure I ever wore it, so don't know how comfortable it is, but when I try it on I like the way it feels.
