There are signs scattered around campus advertising a talk about "And End of Days."

    Much facepalming has been observed.

Sometimes I just get confused when common parlance seems to have eclipsed proper usage.

To wit: Farmers Markets. I think it ought to be farmers' market, but I never see anyone put the apostrophe out there. Its a catastrophe.
Who's going to be the first douchebag to point out I misspelled "its?" Its a TRAP muthafucka!

This is nothing compared to the number of idiots I see on Facebook who don't know the difference between "their" and "they're".
    Or You're not your.

Yeah, that bugs me almost as much as people who DOUBLE SPACE AFTER PERIODS when typing on a computer. You aren't supposed to do that shit "” that's a vestige of the typewriter days when every letter was the same width. Now they aren't, so fucking single space.

Why is this a problem for you?

Because it takes up unnecessary space and from an aesthetic point of view, doesn't look as good, either.

I see fewer and fewer students using indented paragraphs. They just skip a line instead.

I really want to start sending people letters / emails utilizing ligatures such as 'ct', 'long s', et al. But no one would understand.
