Going to commission a tweed gray herringbone sportcoat.
I'm thinking of medium brown horn buttons for it, But I'm also leaning towards lighter brown as well. what do you guys think?

Grey horn doesn't really seem appealing to me, if that's even a thing

It really depends on the exact fabric you pick. Get the swatch and then look at light brown vs med brown buttons. IMO, Light brown can look very nice, with a more medium grey/cream herringbone tweed, but a darker black or charcoal on white, or black on grey tweed will look better with medium brown.

That could look nice w/ medium brown or light brown.

Wherever you get your MTM should have samples of each button, hold them over the swatch and see how they look.

by the way that's a nice clothe, I think I have something very similar (RTW phineas cole), can't even see the button, but from memory it's a darker shade of grey
