I'm an unrepentant and unapologetic fan of the Canadian tuxedo. These might catch some flack, but I've been hunting local discount stores for my size in these raw truckers in ochre and grey. I like to call the contrast the "Canadian Blazer".

I do like grey prince of wales check with suits and trousers, but on its own it looks a bit too drab or utilitarian to me.

Ive been looking for a raglan harrington in POW check but cannot seem to find one for some reason, apart from set in sleeve.

I like the ochre one, they grey is perhaps a bit too neutral for a trucker jacket for me.

Straight off the rack I agree. The issue is that these are raw denim so they're both going to develop significantly more character in the wearing than a rinsed or artificially washed jacket would. I think the grey would become a lot more interesting, but I'd be worried the ochre might become obnoxiously yellow in spots.

Good point with the ochre, would be interesting to see how the grey turns out.

Non-contrast stitching and perhaps Lee 'swooping' pockets, or maybe a Levi red tag as the only detail prominent

Washed blue denim bought in Leeds market, 1988
White denim from Duluth Trading Company c 2007
Tan suede with leather collar from eBay c 2015
Dark brown buffalo leather 2017

All of the above by Levi's. The suede one (size M) fits too small so it's up for sale. I replaced it with a similar tan suede one from Asos which fits perfectly. The two denim ones don't see much use these days. On the odd occasion I reach for such a casual jacket I tend to pull my FP harrington or my FP tennis (monkey) jacket.

I got the buffalo leather trucker expressly for my current trip home as I didn't trust the suede one in the environment of beer, rain and *** burns.

So, time for another The Look Goes On Survey - on trucker jackets.

Which makes do you have currently - if any?

Which fabrics are they in - denim, cord, suede, other?

What is your 'ideal' trucker jacket?

I don't currently have one and your answers will help me! Many thanks.
80s wrangler, 80s Lee in mid blue. Levis stone cord Sherpa. Levis trucker with side pockets(made in Italy, so probably 80s) & made in USA Lee storm rider which is very toasty even in Finnish winter(layered up). I would like a Lee 101j in raw denim.
