1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Does anyone know what's happened to this site? Apparently you can't see any of it any more without logging in. I registered a while ago, but can't log in.
There seems to be no option to find out your password or even create an account.

Click on the "log In" link in the upper right hand corner next to "faqs" and you will be able to check your user name and password. I didn't see anything to sign up via, but expect that filling out the fields and hitting "return" might conjure something up.

Too bad. I occasionally browsed the London Lounge and always enjoyed it. I'm sorry that it is now invisible to non-members and I will no longer be able to read it.

Same here. I always meant to join, but didn't. Pity it doesn't even offer an option to join now.

Alden mentioned that he is using the August lull to make changes to the site and to "stay tuned".

Bumping this as I also need my account activated. What's with the secretive nature of the forum?

It has always been the same, a little more private than SF or AAAC but worth persevering with. Nothing secretive.

London Lounge is a good site concentrating on higher end bespoke and entirely free of newcomers asking if some item bought from TaT or whoever actually fits or what they should wear to an interview.

That's fine but I'm actually interested in bespoke. I don't see how hiding the forum from non-registered users comports with the goal to educate people about bespoke, which is supposedly one of his goals according to his response in an interview: "The Internet can really help young men understand what bespoke tailoring is about. Especially because nowadays, the terms “Made to measure” and “Bespoke” are often used in a misguiding fashion. As a result, beginners are sometimes a bit lost. The problem is that the real tailors suffer from this. That is why we must use the internet to put them to the fore."
