Does anyone know what's happened to this site? Apparently you can't see any of it any more without logging in. I registered a while ago, but can't log in.
There seems to be no option to find out your password or even create an account.

Click on the "log In" link in the upper right hand corner next to "faqs" and you will be able to check your user name and password. I didn't see anything to sign up via, but expect that filling out the fields and hitting "return" might conjure something up.

Thanks. When I click 'I forgot my password', it just says that i haven't registered even though I have.

Has anyone managed to log in recently?

Too bad. I occasionally browsed the London Lounge and always enjoyed it. I'm sorry that it is now invisible to non-members and I will no longer be able to read it.

Same here. I always meant to join, but didn't. Pity it doesn't even offer an option to join now.

Alden mentioned that he is using the August lull to make changes to the site and to "stay tuned".

I've tried this, but after you register, the site indicates that your account needs to be activated by the moderators. Mine hasn't been after a month.

You have to write an introductory mail to M. Alden.

Bumping this as I also need my account activated. What's with the secretive nature of the forum?
