Speak up please. How long have you been an atheist, and what is the reason behind your non-belief? Those who have doubts in their chosen mythology please feel free to speak up as well.

As long as I can remember.
When one considers the premier league theist beliefs (let alone the lower divisions) it really does all seem so much bollocks.
Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence.

Thank you for sharing. Are you open about your atheism or do you keep it to yourself?

You should hold these meetings every Sunday. Maybe pass around a hat to cover the expenses. Need to come up with a catchy logo though.

Sounds too much like that scam that churches run, what's it called again? Oh yeah the collection plate.

I'm good.

I've always viewed religion as a joke and have declared myself an atheist in highschool.

Since I was about 6 or 7 years old. I still get surprised when I find out that an otherwise normal adult actually believes any kind of religious horse ****.

Went public with it in late grade school or early middle school, cant remember. Some class mate asked me to talk about God and it just came out. I've never understood how adults could buy into it either.

I keep it secret when it suits me. Keeping it secret and letting my boss assume I was catholic because of comments I made about my family being catholic lead me to become part of his "inner circle" at a former job.

I'm glad you brought up work. Now the religious especially christians can freely talk about their insane, idiotic, or inane beliefs in the work place with little fear of repercussion or ostracization. The same does not extend to a non-believer. I've been forced to bite my tongue and just stfu at work when religion comes up.

I luckily come from a country where that is rarely the case, and I've never had a job where I thought being sane would hurt me.
