On shirts: How are we finding the fit for SS24? I know a couple of season ago when the Sports Jackets were fitting especially trim, a few people noted the same issue with the shirts (very high armhole, narrow sleeve, etc.)

Any insight on this season? Size charts indicate a pretty generous fit relative to neck size.
I have the first iteration denim BD, which I believe was FW22, and it's a super generous fit (big armhole, billowy sleeves and body). I wonder if they've found a happy medium between the earlier trim fit and the very relaxed fit that immediately followed.

That was my general impression (generous fit), but a few fellows noted that shirts from FW23 ran quite trim.

Hopefully someone can report on SS24!

Fresh from the alterations tailor, the last size 52 Mockleno Sportcoat from this season.

Cotton-linen shirt from last season (matches my bathroom tiles). Jeans are Berg & Berg, sunnies from Monokel.

It's technically still winter here...

Nice jacket. Very cool style generally, I would say. Also Berg & Berg jeans are great.

PSA: three flannel suits are now up on the website in the following colors: charcoal, medium gray, and navy.
Yep, these three all come in single breasted or double breasted.
The double breasted has changed in the lapels which are slimmer but still with ample.
More A/W to come in the following weeks. Keep your eyes peeled.

I visited their store in London today for the first time and immediately bought two pairs of flannel trousers (charcoal and mid grey). For my slim frame, they have just the right combination of mid-to-high rise, single reverse pleat (or flat fronted if that's what you prefer), side adjustors and a straight fit, not-too-slim yet not-too-billowy silhoutte.
The cloth, while beautiful for the price, at 340g i would say is a little light for a winter trouser, and would have preferred around 450g...but you can't have everything.
The showroom's stock consisted mainly trousers and suit jackets, with a few shirts and accessories. I didn't see any of the sports jackets or polo shirts that they have on their site and shown here, but perhaps they're on their way. it is a cool space, and the colours/lighting in the changing area is good.
The staff were great, and really helpful. They both knew what they were talking about and were efficient without being in any way pushy.
The pricing was very reasonable for VBC cloth and the make (and even more so for the jackets), a slight shame they charge for the hemming when others don't, but at £15-a-pop, i think that's perfectly reasonable.
Interestingly, i took my swatches to compare the shade of their 'mid grey' to that of what i consider the authority: Fox. While it is reasonably close to CL2-2 from their similar-weight 'Classic Flannel' book (although perhaps a little bluer/colder), it is very similar to AF2, the 'original authentic flannel' (https://foxflannel.com/products/af2-the-original-authentic-flannel-mid-grey) - only it's 65% of the weight.
All-in-all, it was a great experience and i look forward to picking up my trousers next week and some more pieces from them in future.

Thanks for the write up. If you see any of the new offerings in the store when you’re picking up the trousers, please consider taking some photos to share with the group here. Either way, wear them in good health!

Hi. This is my first post on this site.

I realise that this shop is considered budget in the menswear world. But they are way beyond what I can afford. I wondered if anyone knows of anywhere I can get clothes quite similar to what is found here for cheaper high street prices? I am looking in particular for high rise jeans. I can't seem to find anything like what Natalino is offering.

I am aiming to start building a wardrobe where the smarter items can mix with the more casual items, and I feel that a high rise jean offers a good starting point. Let me know if you have any suggestions, or know of any cheaper alternatives to what Natalino offers. Like the button-downs, flannels or sports coats.

The idea is to one day be buying from these guys. But I've got to start somewhere.

Cheers.

If Natalino is out of your budget, I would advise resorting to online shops such as Luxire, Proper Cloth, Cotton Society or Shirtonomy. All of these offer their made-to-order service. Find a shirt that perfectly fits you and the job is halfway complete.

For trousers, you could use SuitSupply personal appointment service. It 'may' be cheaper than Natalino.
For jeans, I would advise to 'invest' as these would last a long time and just like for shoes, you will notice the difference when you put more money in. You may start with Uniqlo jeans and work your way up to what you want to buy.

Have you checked websites like Marrkt?

Hi. Thanks very much for the response.

I will look into all of those. I had thought that Uniqlo would be a good place to start for Oxford shirts.

I think you are right about the jeans.

Didn't know about Marrkt. Looks great!

Thanks again.
