Famous last words... with or without Chuck Norris.

What is cocktail formal? If you can't bend it, there must be some Rules...

I'd have to take issue with the rule about not wearing a silken square to a funeral. As long as it is in a suitably muted color and not too flamboyantly "puffed," it would seem okay to me.

As to Rosario Dawson being "hot," that almost seems like understatement to me. I have sometimes joked that that dusky beauty (I think she's Afro-Cuban) could convert an Imperial Wizard to the cause of race-mixing!

I will give up sex before having children. You can put money on it.

Luckily we won't have to go to such lengths. No kids.

I felt the same way, at 29.

er, actually not quite. I don't think that the phrase "I will give up sex..." has ever crossed my mind.

Hilarious. I'm not sure it has actually crossed my mind either, but the emphasis is well-placed.

    I LOVE this one:

"3. The ideal age at which a well-informed sense of style finally agrees with the level of the American man's disposable income: Thirty-five. Pre-thirty-five, you have no money. Post-thirty-five, you have kids. And no money."

I turn 35 this year so apparently just about to hit my prime time. And we have absolutely no intentions of having kids--I'm set for life apparently.

    bob

+100 on that. Children will only cut into our precious clothing-disposable-income. 2 weinerdogs will replace our need for kids.

I'll second the notion of JM Weston (Saphir?) shoe polish smelling absolutely divine. I use a tin of tan quite liberally on all my brown and burgundy colored shoes. I dont get the black polish thing. A dark brown might suffice... but black?

The one thing I really *liked* was...dunno, #34 or so. Try wearing different cufflinks on each wrist. Good stuff, nice and subtle effect.

    VERY subtle.

Don't know if anyone knows the Canadian fashion entrepreneur Harry Rosen. He always wears mismatched cufflinks. I saw him in a convention last fall and talked to him about it, he said no more than 20 people ever noticed it during his years.

Also, there's a Canadian line of cufflinks, called GreenShag. Pretty interesting.

I'm always curious about others' reasons to not have kids.
Even among my younger friends, they give me strange looks when I express my distaste for children.

Honestly, I'm reluctant to get into a discussion of why I do not want children. I don't dislike children, I should say that upfront. I love my niece and nephews and enjoy spending time with friends' kids. But I have my own reasons beyond that which always draw the same reation: "Oh, you'd feel differently if they were your children." I don't want to feel differently; I like my life how it is.

I hear and understand you. I'm viewed as the alien in my family for holding the same beliefs.

Am I the only one who thinks Rosario Dawson "isn't all that"? I never found her particularly attractive.

If by "isn't all that" you mean that she's slightly less attractive than Eva Longoria, but nonetheless hot enough to seriously consider pulling a Van Gogh, then, yeah, I'm with you... [IMG]
