I washed mine. I have the azure blue linen one. Mine didn’t shrink that I noticed (cold wash, hung to dry), but the color did fade somewhat and it softened up. I like it, it has a nice lived-in feel
Have any other purchases shrunk? Everything I’ve ever bought from LEJ has shrunk noticeably. I’m a 40 chest, but will size up to an L next time.

I can’t see any shrinkage at all. Some fading sure but that’s it. That goes for my linen, corduroy, silk and cotton shirts. My outerwear remains unwashed so far.

CUTTS cotton voile shirt shrunk ever so slightly in all directions on cold wash/flat dry (which is what I wanted actually). My indoor/outdoor linen pants haven't shrunk noticeably at all (though I've tried). I have the same material in the le cat posh plage jacket but haven't washed yet. Hoping no shrinkage there as it's perfect as is (TTS).

Thanks a lot, that looks great on you! I also have a few items on my list: the houndstooth plage coat I missed out on a few seasons ago, and a couple of the summer camp shirts.

I got this shirt last summer and it was the perfect Barbie movie outfit ;)

Just noticed this, and is a solid fit man. Thanks for sharing.

That looks really great. I love the fabric choices for the Come Up To The Studio shirts, but am hesitant to buy because the cut is so wide. How does it looked untucked, or is it just for wearing tucked in?
I picked up my first CUTTS this spring, a tad narrower and longer in body and sleeve than previous years I believe which helps. I think it looks best tucked or untucked with a few buttons undone (both top and bottom most) with a shirt under (or not). I'm fairly conservative so my instinct was to button most buttons "normally" which doesn't work - too wide and straight cut looked odd- once you open it up to let it flow it works great imo.

Can anyone weigh in on the winter Plage coat in wool - does it work with knits underneath being that it's unlined without catching/pulling too much? Also- the weight- would you consider it a proper mid weight coat like a fleece?

Sounds like another herringbone version is coming (same material just diff color). I love my linen Plage and easy to throw on like a lightweight jacket- but the dense linen material lends itself to do that with ease...not sure how a more open knit would fair unlined with other knits in the fall/winter.

I don't have one handy at the moment, but irrc it was pretty substantial. I'd consider a bit more heavy duty than a fleece, but yea it worked well layered with the cashmere knits he's done

I have the melton wool Winter Plage. I don't know how it compares to the herringbone wool version, but I think it works pretty well with a knit underneath. The wool is high quality and has a relatively smooth hand feel, I've never had anything underneath catch or pull. The wool is like that on a standard peacoat but maybe a little thinner. I think you could consider it mid-weight, it's not very heavy.
You can see the thickness in this picture:

Do you guys find yourself wearing the Plage coat a lot? The martingale cinch I'm still dumbfounded about. I think I'd prefer without it and it seems easy to remove from the seams. Thoughts?

I wear plage a lot (have olive hbt from first time it was released). For martingale back I just unbutton it and let it hang.

Wish they did more tie front plages and in other fabrics.
