Apparently there is an uproar (or at least a blog) in response to Burberry moving production to China. I didn't know the brand had this sort of following among people to whom location would make a difference.

Well most of the people who wear Burberry are asian, so I guess it makes sense.

Is Armani Exchange made in Asia somewhere? Cause if not, that should be next.

The only people I ever see Burberry on are blacks. It's gotten to be like Tommy Hilfiger, at least according to viewpoints in my social circles. Blacks-only brands.

Ahh, globalization strikes again!!!!

I have a Burberry tie bought in Japan that was made in Italy. I haven't worn it yet but if Burberry moves production to China I can flip it on ebay.

Blurberry should just split their production between England and China. Don't they have the label color (blue, purple, black) marketing scheme like Ralph Lauern?

Lower end products made in China and upper end made in England.

When my social circle (you know, circle, like "kuklos" in Greek) dons our hoods and meets up in the spooky forest, we get to talking about the nigras too. We do a lot of reflecting on the potential acronym relevance of "JNCO," because fitted pants just look so strange under those flowing robes -- very unbalanced.

Occasionally we'll get all hung up talking about the blacks-only brands: your Stacy Adams, Roberto Chillini, Diamante. You know all the players.

Perhaps our respective circles should organize to further our agenda...

When you walk into Bloomingdales and see a group of blacks wearing Burberry patterened 1-piece jumpsuits, browsing for more Burberry, it's safe to assume anyone witnessing this dibacle would never, ever purchase that brand again.

It's not that blacks ruined Burberry, the hiphop culture cheapened it. Their hilariously awful knockoffs mixed with the pieces they actually can afford only heightens how terrible it is. I personally think that pattern is hideous to begin with and when I see some westside thug wearing Burberry do-rag next to a businessman holding his Burberry umbrella, I can't help but laugh.

Burberry is the epitome of "gawdy"

That depends entirely on the class of the blackamoor, kind sir. They are a people whose spirits are broken. Most ideally, a boy knows his place and has a docile, amiable nature. Occasionally, however, you'll encounter a loutish brute who will shake his purple fist at you and begin with the hooting. That's when good white folk like us call upon our social circle to ride in, right?
