Hey everyone,

First of all, thank you for starting this thread. I have learned a good amount after reading through it...

I'm hoping that someone can help me out here - I am in the market for a bracelet but I know very little about the brands that are out there. I have come to appreciate Good Art HLWD but their prices are a bit too steep for me.

Does anyone know of any other brands that sell similiar items to Good Art?

I'd love to hear some suggestions. Thanks
When I couldn’t afford good art prices I bought Neff goldsmith (also sold at selfedge.com) and Larry smith ( different style). Both great brands, but I sold all my previous jewelry for good art

@Komuga out of curiosity how did you sell your jewelry and what was your experience like? I think some of my hesitation with diving into jewelry so far is I have virtually no sense of the second hand market. Good Art at Self edge is final sale, and I don’t know what margin I’m looking at eating if I don’t end up liking something (I don’t live near any retailers.) I don’t mind taking a risk on like a few hundred bucks for a piece of outerwear I buy on sale, but it becomes a lot more critical when I’m thinking about buying a $1500 bracelet.

Good art sells for slightly less for retail 2nd hand. It holds a lot of its value. I’d say 80%~

FYI, Good Art is definitely not final sale at Self Edge.. you can send anything that's not a special order back for store credit within 30 days. We also have a Good Art specialist on staff to help with any purchase regardless of size, you can email that person at [email protected]

@kiya thanks for letting me know! Jonathan told me via that email when I was in the processing of getting my curb chain that jewelry was final sale. Definitely changes the equation for me. Also thank you @Komuga!

Looking to switch up some of my jewelry. Kinda bored with what I own now. I want to save up for a couple of GAH pieces down the road, but in the interim, would like to grab something new and enjoyable at a reasonable price. If any of you are looking to offload any pre-owned GAH, Neff Goldsmith, Self Edge, vintage, or Native American pieces, hit me up in the DMs!

Back when I was at my full time, I was working under (a now bankrupt company) that was part of the Del Vecchio, Brooks Brothers family. The other designers under our house name did partner brands, like Lauren RL jewelry, amongst a few others. All the fashion brands have such poorly designed work. It always felt like an after thought, even my coworkers who were designing it hated it.

I’ve owned a lot of silver jewelry like CH etc, and nothing like goros, partly maybe due to the popularity, but the way it was sculpted, it feels very different compared to other similar feather stuffs. Also they use their own mix of silver composition which results in darker patina.

goros and ch are incomparable. Chrome hearts is just a hyped overpriced mall brand. Goros is quality.
