The diamonds aren’t that much of a difference in price though given the total, <400 between diamond vs no diamond.

I think the Good Art is thicker than 3mm which will account for some of the price difference, but think it’s higher compared to most Miami spots even adjusting for width.

If you’re looking for a normal chain and don’t care about their story, in house made clasp, etc, I’d just go Daniel’s tbh.

You can get it with or without diamonds and the diamonds add $500.

Though to be fair, considering link size, this Daniel chain is a better comparison.

Daniel 5mm

Still it’s a third of the price; $4,490 for 20 inches, vs. $17,550 for 21 inches (without diamonds.)

I do like the Good Art clasp, but is there a higher level of craftsmanship or handmade work as well?

For those who are into Good Art, am I missing something with the model 10? I went to Nordstrom to try it on and thought it was just ok. Actually like the B&T better. Is the price difference between the two just due to clasp?
I have the mode 10 AA and like it, but I tried on the various model 22s last summer and I personally would take any of them over the 10 every day of the week.

I really like this solid link idea with alternating sizes from M.Cohen. It's pretty darn expensive for just silver but I can't find anything quite like it anywhere else. The few alternatives I can find use either hollow tube links or flattened links to reduce material use. Anyone have any suggestions for alternatives in 24"?

For the last month of so I've been wearing a 21 inch gold figaro chain from Menē. The link size is between 3 and 4 mm. It can easily tuck under a dress shirt, which I like.

It’s interesting that this discussion brings up how Kapital uses the Virgin Mary in its designs! Some people love the artistic look, but others find it a bit questionable—especially with unexpected themes like the cookie she’s holding this season.
Wearing a religious symbol without being connected to the faith behind it can be tricky. It really depends on context. For one person, a cross might just be a stylish accessory, while for someone else, it’s definitely a symbol of faith, or even politics. There are cultural and regional nuances too: in some places, using these symbols for aesthetics is totally normal, while in others, it’s seen very differently.
And style is personal, right? Some people here say they love the quality and craftsmanship of brands like Good Art, but it didn’t quite feel right when they actually wore it. Good Art justifies its price with its in-house craftsmanship and attention to detail, but obviously, it’s not for everyone!
In the end, it’s about finding that balance between respecting cultural and religious symbolism and wanting to express yourself with pieces you genuinely like.

Selling a couple of my Good Art pieces on eBay and I listed those auctions in the 'what I'm selling on eBay' thread. Wanted to highlight those auctions here.

If posting this here isn't okay, please let me know and I'll delete the post.

Also, I'll be selling some more jewelry (Neff Goldsmith, Enri Mars, Miansai, etc.), so if anyone's interested, let me know and I can send a list along.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
