Well, I just received the BR sweatshirt in XL from a UK shop .. and it's too big. Especially too long (!) in the body and sleeves. I do wonder if they have a different version for the Western market. The XL is a full 2 inches longer than the measurements on Hinoya and Rodeo.

I'd just exchange it for a large, but it's sold out at the shop I got it from (American Classics London). And I'm a bit wary of trying to shrink it by throwing it in a hot wash in case that messes up the elastic around the waist.

I don't know about the rest of the people on here but my repro sweatshirts fade way too intensely when washed.

My goal in going to Japan this year is to find an alternative winter coat as I’d like more variety than my N1 jacket.. and if the yen keeps going down I don’t know how I can’t possibly try to buy a leather jacket this year 😭

Do you know any Kaptain Sunshine stockists outside of Beams? I remember only seeing a handful of pieces there at their flagship store (forget where its at, but not the smaller ones in harajuku)

There is a bunch of bunch of places that sporadically stock it. Sunhouse is one of my favorite shops that stock it. They have a lot of stuff that fit my aesthetic too like porter classic, sunsurf, and visvim etc. Kaptain Sunshine is great for basics but understandably they can be quite boring haha

RMC J-24 right? How'd that end up fitting?

Haven't gotten yet, kinda afraid to ship it since I don't wanna get hit with a large customs fee. Might just wait since my MIL is coming to LA for crimbus.

Locally or online somewhere?

Mostly online and sent to my MIL. Locally in a way because some of the Kapital my good friend grabbed from the store for me and I venmo'd them

Better beef up or skinny down before then, as the case may be.

Haha well if anything it might fit me perfect as I go to try a size 40 vintage Buco at the rose bowl and it fit me goddamn perfectly. Almost wish I bought the vintage version instead but oh well
