I have finally found my ideal sweatshirt. These two are from Buzz Rickson and for less than a buck fifty, I think they present an excellent value. The quality on these is great, with the grey feeling slightly heavier (maybe fluffier?) and a bit looser, although I just received the black today. It was surprisingly tough to find a sweat that had a tighter neckline and didn't extend too far past my waist. While a lot of places say to size up, I would stick to your usual size in these as they do loosen with wear. This is a 38-40 and I have a 40-41" chest.
those look great man

Hey does anyone know where it would be possible to source those bar stud things that are on the J-24's epaulets?

Nah it looks good in the sleeves and shoulders, and Type 2 are made to be worn short. I think he's wondering if it's big enough for you to close.
Ah, my type 3's are a little longer and this is my one and only type 2 so that's why I was confused.

Yeah, it's a solid fit and fairly easy to button up

I think it's perfect.
Thanks, I'm happy I took a chance with it too. Didn't have any indigo denim jackets but didn't want to get yet another type 3 so picked this up. Already got a random compliment when I wore it for the first time last weekend and now got additional internet validation so I'm a happy camper ???
