Cool, I recall reading someone else was looking for a western shirt. Can’t remember which thread.

I’m having an identity crisis. The jeans are too long and arguably a bit too wide. They cuff poorly at least. I could have them hemmed, but risk making them even less attractive. I could also taper them, but I feel that violates some sanctimony around buying repro, as you start really messing with the seams.
Tight / slim is on the way out. I've basically mothballed anything with less than an 8" hem. Loose, antifit denim is where it's at...

I'm willing to do a 7.5 hem if it's a wide pant that tapers down to that but no skinny/slim for me.

I actually have some Studio DArtisn that I mistakenly hemmed up too short but has a 9.5 hem. Now it's like one of my favorite pants and I was gutted when I forgot them back in Chicago and my wife forgot to bring them when she made a trip back and forth.

Hi friends, what are some good slim-slim straight khaki chino I could wear to work? I'm wearing Japanese Americana up top with like 20$ gap chinos on the bottom
Burgus Plus, the house brand of Hinoya, are relatively slim by rep chino standards. MiJ and reasonably priced. Their standard, 401z, is fairly low rise though. 402 is higher rise but only available in a couple colors compared to the 5 of 401.

I have the 401s, excellent pants. They used to use a nice, thick mercerized cotton. Lowish rise, I agree.

I like the golden wash on those and the fit seems good from the pictures. Will look even better once hemmed or cut.

It’s been commented elsewhere on this forum that Dean Delray is somewhat lacking as an interviewer, but this interview with Jeremy and his partner Neil includes a lengthy discussion of Real McCoy’s:

@StrangeJeremy you and I have a connection in Yuki Matsuda - I also met him through a profile piece I wrote on him around 2011, which led to a brief working relationship with him, although my work ethic was lacking at 25 and so we politely parted ways. I found it a novel bit of information that it was through your relationship that you were able to make inroads with Tsujimoto.
