I brought a lot of pants to Sam over the last year, all of which I got too fat for and donated.
I know that feeling. One of the reasons I took so long to get the trousers tailored was cause most of them were too snug cause of Covid weight gain. Finally managed to drop most of it so I fit in these comfortably now.

Bad pic of said trousers.. two olive sateen, one from A/W 20 in OD 107 color, one on the left is from Spring 21. Grey and red fleck wool trousers from A/W 20, and far right is a pair from Spring 20 I had redone.

The Armoury Westbury on Madison and 69th has a pretty cool assortment of The Real McCoys. The winter jackets are killer! They also show inventory on The Armoury website.

The speedhooks thing? Used to happen all the time with my Aldens - that's why we usually spec'd no hooks on their boots.
Yep specifically Alden’s haha. I honestly hate their speed hooks. A friend and I spec’d out a boot with the Madison shop recently and that was one of my number one criteria.

I have pair of Alden tankers from Lost & Found that are eyelets all the way up, but I never wear them because it takes so long to lace. I'm trying to commit to wearing them more this fall/winter.

My role clubs are eyelets all the way up and in the future I might change em up to speed hooks. Aesthetically I like all eyelets, however speed hooks are obviously easier

Did you get lace ups too? I recall you mentioning receiving your engineers. I'm still waiting for my underdogs which were supposed to be done back in March... ugh.
