I've been delaying singing praises of my Iron Heart N-1 as I wanted to wear it for awhile first. Initial thoughts are that it's been fairly effective over an UHF during this freeze we have going on in NYC. Arm length is a bit of an annoyance, but I'm hoping creasing will help that with time. Definitely quality construction and materials. I was worried that by going for a full alpaca lining I would be overheating, but it's proved great for this below-30 F weather.

Sizing wise, I landed somewhere between large and undersized (so, Goldilocks, I guess). It's a bit snug with an UHF and thick Wonderlooper T underneath, but arm movement is still ok. I had them install a paracord drawstring at the waist which was unnecessary given the snugness at the hem.

My recent deck jacket I got is 100% Alpaca and I vastly prefer it to the 50/50 wool/alpaca blend in my RMC N-1. Both are about the same in terms of warmth imo, but the pure alpaca has a much nicer hand to it than the blend does.

I was a bit worried about the N1 being too heavy but we get a pretty good temp range in NorCal. It'll be in the low 40s in the morning of a 60 degree day so I been gettin a lot of wear out of mine.

The Real McCoy's collection preview is up and it's a pretty big dud. Mostly just restocks of things that had sold out. Odd timing of this as well since a number of things from last Fall's collection still haven't been released yet. They also must be experiencing delays in production as I preordered an aviator's kit bag from Celluloid back in September and they said it might not arrive until May or even June!

Sharing the same sentiments. Nothing noteworthy for S/S25 which is par for course for RMC. I am hoping for a restock of loopwheel tees however as I’m finding theirs just for the best for me overall from all the brands I’ve tried.

Speaking of the Campus jacket, I haven't used my Lawrence jacket basically this whole season. All my leather jackets are starting to fit bigger than I'd like in the shoulders.

I might post my Buco and my Edward for sale here. Although the J-24 is even more expensive than when I bought it if I ever wanted to go up a size.

I was pleased to see the price of the campus jacket hasn't changed since they were introduced in 2011 or thereabouts. Otherwise, everything is more expensive now.

Anyone have recommendations for maybe lesser known Japanese workwear brands, similar to brands like Filson? Think flannels, waffle t-shirts, down vest/jackets, etc.

Yeah too bad that some of that stuff is super expensive here in Japan because of the US/Yen exchange rate.

Like the Lawrence jacket is 250k yen which is basically like a whole month paycheck for me
