There are listings on grilled with a label like this:

That are tagged Real McCoys. Is this legit? Through a quick google I couldn't find any references to "technical apparel by Gill" other than these listings, much less something tied to Real McCoys.

It's legit if you believe it's legit. Like my Gocci and Proda.

Heh you probably know better than me then I just had the one jacket... which I sold cause it was too tight in the shoulders/armhole. I think some of the distressed leathers are shrunk or come up smaller which adds to the chaos theory sizing. I like their stuff from afar now, not really interested in buying or wearing it anymore.
Yeah I still think their stuff looks dope, but those shoulders/armhole! I don't know who it fits tbh.

The Armoury just got these in:
Gosh that price tag is just a lot for what they are though

It will surprise no one when I say that cost:value doesn’t really apply in this retail space. I mean, I do partly buy RMC for their straight stitching, attention to detail, etc., but mainly because it fits the fantasy I’m looking to fulfill.

Which is not to say that one cannot fulfill their fantasy - or find equal value - through less expensive alternatives.

Outside the pricing, the real draw for RMC and like brands is that there’s really not many other brands making these kinds of items. For RMC, there’s to an extent BR, but for other types of styles like Freewheelers and others there really isn’t alternatives for the styles, so the price is what it is to me. I haven’t bought anything really stateside in like 4 years because of this and proxying has gotten so much easier

One of the cheapest brand I know of in this genre is TCB and their stuff seriously slays.

This At Last Co. (Timeworn Clothing) trucker is on Markkt in a 44:

There's also a Butcher Products sweatshirt.
That’s not a bad price tbh. Based off the measurements I think it’s from the older batch which ran large. I believe they’ve updated the fabrics for both the lot 147 & 161

I walked around for an hour in a fresh veg tanned leather jacket and now I smell like a new car.
Bottle you up and make a perfume

Oh I fully get this. RMC is a great example. Their clothes are for the most part simply just cool. And price isn't the consideration so much as "how much RMC is too much RMC?"
I just meant that those particular jackets are kinda bleh to me and in that case the price does come into play.

I tend to agree.

If I love something, than the upper limit is whatever there is in my bank account that I'm willing to pay. Being a rather debt free individual, and somewhat irresponsible with savings, the upper limit has been high in the last year.

If I am in the "sort of like" or "am willing to explore" phase with something I will consider price much more thoroughly.

I crept my way up certain ladders (most of the tailored clothes / office wear spectrum, outerwear), jumped fast near the top for others (leather jackets, boots) and I'm still working my way up some others (denim and hats comes to mind)
