i gave my Buzz Rickson to my wife because i don't trust myself with white shirts but i do wear my Real McCoy's a lot, one from a couple years ago with the underarm gussets. i also have a black Warehouse chambray i like a lot, they seem to have great shirting patterns. I do have an Iron Heart western in a tam chambray tucked away right now, it's more of a winter shirt for me due to the weight. Of all of them the Iron Heart has the most forgiving sizing. What are we preferring for chambray shirts? I’m liking the Buzz Rickson one, however I feel like I’m sitting smack dab between a L and XL—large for the chest, XL for the sleeve length.
Anyone have recommendations for ribbed tanks? I like the look of them peeking out from under a western or Hawaiian shirt, but can't for the life of me find a proper one.
They all seem to have wonky collars/neck areas. I'm looking for something, ideally, on the shorter side. Any good Japanese makers? Cheers!
Not ribbed, not Japanese and not short unless you wash and dry, but these are highly recommended:

They were 20% off until last night, so you could ask them if they'd extend the discount for you.
Do you know where these are made?
Anyone here own any of the Mccoy rugbies? Eyeing one, but the measurements differ from site to site, and I'm afraid they shrink a lot p2p.. any idea?
Thanks for the detailed response!I own three of them (still need to get the green) and the sizing is fairly generous. I'm 5'9'', 185 and a medium fits me very well, even after washing, though I put none of my Real McCoy's stuff in the dryer. Always check the measurements on the main website first, I trust them above all else.
To address a previous discussion; I own both the Buzz Rickson's chambray shirt as well as the new Real McCoy's chambray shirt from this spring. I would size up if you go with the Buzz because the sleeves are indeed short (I have a 15-15 1/2) and plus any sizing you see will be prewashed. Comparing the two quality wise, I wouldn't say there's a huge difference, but the McCoy's one feels nicer, has denser and just in general more stitching, and although I got the McCoy's one in a size 16 so the comparison isn't truly fair, it's much longer than the Buzz Rickson's one, by like to 2'' to 3''. Does that justify the price difference? Probably not, but I much prefer the McCoy's one.
Orslow slim-fit fatigues come to mindFavourite brans for army chinos that would fit similar to a 501 (medium-rise and 7.5"-8" leg opening), that can be hemmed, or come in different inseams.
Any recommendations?
