Swung back through the Armoury Westbury today so I could try the Grizzly again in a larger size, and so that @upsett1_spaghett1 could see the J-24.
I totally appreciate it! Damn, the J-24 looks awesome. I think that might have to be my 30th Bday present for myself.

Also the Grizzly is just spectacularly cool. Every pic, it grows on me a lot

My dad doesn’t care for style but he has an eye for quality. When I talked to him earlier today he was wearing a UES ultra heavy flannel I gave him after it didn’t work out for me. I think I’ll be fine too.

Paul Newman repro lol

What's the name for this style of shorts? I had a similar pair with the small pockets on the thighs I found at a thrift a long time ago and have always wanted to replace them but haven't had luck.

I think trousers with front pockets are called Bush pants. Those shorts are definitely cut offs.

I'll stop doing this some day.

A snug size 42.

Michael at The Armoury sent me this scan of an old interview with Hitoshi Tsujimoto taken from Inventory magazine, Ryan Willms' now-defunct enterprise. It's the most comprehensive article I've yet read regarding the brand. I especially like the part where Tsujimoto paid people to improve on Christopher Nolan's work.

Really nice read. I do wonder how the company will continue now that his son is running it. Not sure how long ago Tsujimoto retired. The impression I had from one of the staff in the Tokyo shop was that his son wasn't nearly as interested nor invested in the brand which is understandable. The brand has such a large footprint in Japan I'm sure it'll be fine, but outside of leather jackets and maybe a few other select things, theres not a lot in recent seasons that I've lusted after.
