Have a look on Hundersfield (old Tomas Fisher) website which also sells Dugdale Bros. This is also made by Dugdale which is not sold or mentioned in their official website.

I underatand Pagoda is a total like/hate thing.

Nice, I'm getting some summer stuff made up soon too. Why would you get a waistcoat, especially double breasted? For wearing without the jacket?

edit: ahh, so that's the stuff from the Huddersfield Cloth site - http://www.huddersfieldcloth.com/gallery.asp?Category=31 ? That was on my list of fabric possibilities. Got any closer-up shots? Someone in the 'unfunded liabilities' thread a while back said Huddersfield Cloth was reselling stuff from Bateman Ogden, and I thought the Huddersfield "Cool New Wool" book might actually be the BO "Panache" - if you compare the four swatches shown on the BO site to the Huddersfield Cloth ones, the numbers seem to match.

I think that might've been me. A while ago, Dugdale also sent around an e-mail to clearly dissociate themselves from Huddersfield.

I think you guys mean Cape Breeze by Dugdale: http://www.cutterandtailor.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=564

What Mr. Hui told you is confirmed by my tailor here in the US as well- it looks and behaves much heavier than it actually is. It's my sole suiting fabric now, it'll be hard to use anything else.

Who is Mr. Hui and how does he compare?

Wow. Interesting story about Dugdale and Huddersfield. I still find the latter carrying a full range of the former brand....

Waistcoat are pretty welcome in my work so it is alright.

It is definately not cape breeze.

I think Mr. Hui is a "up-stair" tailor located at Causeway Bay near the Time Square.
His price point is like Dream Bespoke, Baron Lee, IIRC.

Price is higher now unfortunately. I do agree that they are 'up stair' and nowhere as nice as the shops like WW Chan.

What are his price points and do you know of any pics anywhere? Maybe you could review him if it hasn't been done yet.

Those pagoda shoulders look well done. I don't care how nice the shop is if the tailoring is good.

Mr Hui, master cutter, is around mid fifties, my last quote cmt price is 30% lower than Gordan Yao. I hope it helps a bit in answering your question.

My friend reported that his quote was HK$5000 for a jacket with the most handwork put in.

I will have guess CMT 3 piece should be around HK$8500 to HK$9000, depends how demanding you are e.g. handpadded lapel on waistcoat.

The above price will include the premium hand stitched canvass and dense lapel paddings.

p.s. I have a different CMT price since I am a relatively old customer.

For most tailors in Hong Kong, CMT price is usually higher to new customers than old customers. Do you know the reason behind it?
