    Normal English buttonhole also used gimp, so I think it is the way how Milanese is sewn make it easier to deform.

    These are to 'key hole' pattern and are quite wrong for use on a lapel. Simply because a tradesman is Italian, he can make the same mistakes. I would mark both very much down for summiting such a basic error.

    There are the two styles. Those intended as practical button holes can be seen adjacent to the buttons, the others are not.
