1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

There is an opportunity cost for paying less . Your boss don't want to waste time, then he has to pay a premium for high rental cost tailor shops.

    True.
Just someone PM me and would offer help to connect me with Ng sifu directly.
The cost will be even cheaper as the middleman's commission is eliminated (don't see any value here as I can be translator) and yet Ng sifu can come to my boss office for fitting and measurement too.
This is the best way then.

I will check with Dream as well later and propose 3 options to my boss.

Once again, thanks very much for all your advice!

Most importantly is that I can deal with the sifu directly, without the 'nuisance' of the middleman.

I only hope you are experience enough to deal with a Sifu without the middleman.

I also hope that your boss will have reasonable expectation of the outcome.

Just a second thought, you sure your boos is not asking you to pay for it instead of him?

p.s. Please be considerate and do not post Sifu's contact publicly in future.

Yes fully understand, that's why I never post any personal contact or price here, even though someone ask me for the price of dream (hifilover??)

After all, Ng sifu is just an option, will let my boss to choose.

How have we started from WW Chan to a seemingly bargain basement option where you would want to dispense with a middleman who is there is guide you, at a cost admittedly but knows more about tailoring than you do?

I miss Hong Kong and HK tailoring. Now over a year back in London with a small daughter (born at the Queen Mary Hospital, Pok Fu Lam) and a rarely-opened wardrobe full of suits, jackets, shirts and shoes as souvenirs.

Perhaps Grand Tailor could be a good option for @audilover and his boss. Cheaper than WW Chan, house style seems to be quite 'hard' cut and construction which suits the formality of a dinner jacket (and also helps it last a long time), most gweilo can find Times Square easily enough. Still feels like a 'secret' HK tailor shop in the way that is quite exciting for expats. Sham Shui Po is quite a long way away for the busy executive.

Seriously, I wouldn't spend too much time searching for a tailor for my boss. I am even less willing to accompany him to the measurement, fitting, etc. I would just give him a list of top tailors (or those perceived to be so) with English speaking services with the price range - and be done with it.

London climate should be more tailored clothes friendly. Why not wear your outfits more?

After reading your post all over again, everything seems odd and not logical . I believe you theme is to attack Michael who co-operate with Tailor Ng .
