It's one of the few manned gated communities that I know of here which is a plus for some people. We were going to look at a place there but they rarely come up and the one in our price range did not accept showings after the first hour on the market. This was the middle of last year so not even this crazy market.

The houses at the top of the screen are a different neighborhood and while we looked at a couple, didn't want to put in the work required to get it to where we would love it.

Well, the floors are done! Flooding ordeal is behind me for now.

Went with the gray laminate setup; herringbone is not an option on laminate click floors (which I didn't know) but this turned out rather well! Didn't go for the diagonal install and just kept it simple.

- Yes it's a hookah
- They're meant to be solar lights for my patio outside but I was still in transition and the floor folks needed space for their saw; didn't put them out yet
- I like color? They're going soon because I'm getting a new sofa and TV
- It's a crochet gift I got from a friend!

We got our property tax assessment in the mail today. The valuation is up $75k from last year.

This is basically my house, except replace the kid **** with tools.

What's that gate setup, though? Right now we just have an x-pen surrounding the piano to keep the pets out.
