Need to remove three pieces of rebar that were holding in a floating shelf. Pretty solidly in there. Any suggestions?

I could cut them off, but I doubt they would come off perfectly flush and even if I limewash over, the difference in texture would annoy.

So far I'm rolling with the tried and ture whacking them with a heavy object but no dice.

Insulation guy came out today. I am mostly happy, but this is not cheap. Doing the whole kit and kaboodle. Injection foam on all exterior wall, rim joist with closed cell spray, garage walls done with spray as well (they are open) both attic spaces completely air sealed, original insulation retained and then recoated with cellulose tongetbto R49.

Total? 11k. Now how will I pay for my only fans subscriptions that month!?

What is transpiring is the homeowner in question has decided he or she wants 4 mature olive trees in the backyard. With no side access, they have trucked these in complete with wrapped, ~10ft diameter root balls and are lifting them over the house.
