maybe. they are common here but i'm not entirely sold.

i would consider this in a place like cali. we average over 40" of rain annually. if you don't manage water here it will manage you

i guess you have parapet walls ?

we also get 1 or 2 days of snow. currently:

I wasn't sold, but in our current house they've been a lifesaver (they were on the house). I still have to get up on a ladder because all the pine needles still pile up on the gutter guards, but it takes me 5 minutes to just sweep it all clear.

One of my neighbors has gutter guards, and it turns out the holes are the perfect size for maple seeds.

Every year, every single hole in the guards has a sprouted maple seedling in it.

yeah our place is surrounded by maples and one neighbor has an enormous ash, and they do plug up those guards my neighbor has them and has mentioned. i've been realigning the ground lines and putting clean outs in the line.

That’s how Craigslist started, as a place to find a hitman. These were hand selected by Craig.

I’ve hung out with Craig a couple of times. Super chill dude. Not a likely source for hitman leads but you never know.

CL is in a bad way and very quietly shopping themselves around right now. I think they are a goner.

I think Facebook Marketplace has supplanted them as the leader in the market segment of “idiots who want to spend the least amount of time, disclosure and intelligence possible while still commanding top dollar for their junk”

Is it possible to be in a bad way when you have like 50 employees and run a text based website that hasn't had major development work in a decade?

How much revenue do you actually need to bring in to support that? Throw a couple google ad words on there or something.

Although I am still pissed about the padmapper lawsuit. Those guys figured out how to make craigslist apartment search work awesome...and instead of hiring them, buying them, or even just straight up copying them, they...forced them to shut down and then never bothered to improve the service?

I remade my Facebook specifically to use Marketplace. I just really dislike what Facebook/Instagram have become--just no longer feels like interacting with friends. So much ******* clickbait and sponsored content.
